Description
Serespro is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Special Education Technicians and Child and Youth Workers to join our team in schools and in Youth Protection (DPJ) settings across Montréal and surrounding areas.
We are looking for motivated professionals who want to make a real difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and families by providing personalized interventions, guidance, and support in educational and social contexts.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide support and interventions for children and youth with special needs, learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, or emotional concerns.

Develop and apply individualized intervention strategies that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals.

Actively participate in the creation and follow-up of individualized intervention plans (IIP).

Help students integrate better into their school environment and foster success both academically and socially.

In Youth Protection (DPJ) mandates, support children and families facing challenges, contribute to case planning, and intervene in crisis situations when needed.

AEC or DEC in Special Education (Éducation spécialisée) – mandatory for most school mandates.

Bachelor’s degree in Psychoeducation, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields (an asset for Youth Protection positions).

Excellent command of spoken and written French (essential, as most positions are within francophone school boards and DPJ environments in Montréal).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Training in ITCA or OMEGA (asset depending on mandate).
-
Availability to work full-time and readiness to start between September 2nd and September 5th.

Multiple positions available in schools (elementary & high schools) and in Youth Protection (DPJ).
